Core vs Non-core Modules

• Test::Exception is not a core module

• Bundle or Makefile.PL prerequisites

  • Use prerequisites if your module needs another module to function.

  • Bundle into the t directory if only yours tests need a module

    • Error.pm is bundled in bioperl-1.4

    • IO::Select is bundled in many other packages

    • Bundled incorrectly may cause the bundled to overwrite an already installed version.
