• Formally, we're still working on Objective 1: bumping the major version number

  • Have nearly got unthreaded builds working

  • ... but big problems with threads

• In anticipation of reaching Objective 1, we're doing some work on Objectives 2 and 3:

  • Having entire test suite be strict-compliant, then ...

  • Having entire test suite be warnings-compliant

  • But that can't be merged into alpha until Objective 1 is achieved
