• particle requested new command-line option to Configure.pl

    perl Configure.pl --test=configure  # run pre-configuration tests
                                        # then run Configure.pl

    perl Configure.pl --test=build      # run Configure.pl
                                        # then run post-configuration and 
                                        # build tools tests
